Depuis sa formation en 2007, le groupe Spherical Void, originaire de Compiègne, propose au public une musique personnelle, officiant dans un métal qui allie énergie, atmosphères pesantes et rythmiques syncopées. Le tout mené par un chant en français et en anglais, oscillant entre voix saturées et mélodiques.
En 2009 sort un premier EP intitulé « Spiritual Architect », entièrement autoproduit (excepté le chant, enregistré dans les studios de Pascal Gutman à Compiègne), sur le thème des dépendances physiques, sociales et psychiques de l'Homme.
Ce premier opus est très bien accueilli par le public, saluant au passage l'initiative d'une distribution libre sous licence Creatives Commons.
Afin de promouvoir cette première démo et de se forger une expérience scénique, Spherical Void s'est produit plus d'une quinzaine de fois sur scène dans les régions Nord et Est mais surtout, en Picardie et en région parisienne.
Leur nouvel EP « Believe : Arise », sorti le 21 mars 2011, marque un tournant pour le groupe avec des compositions beaucoup plus personnelles. Enregistré à Massy, à l'espace Paul B., par Alexandre Beucler, cet EP se veut loin des standards actuels, trop aseptisés, pour laisser transparaitre toute l'émotion de chaque chanson.
Le groupe continue de se produire sur scène en partageant l'affiche de nombreux groupes tels que Textures, Klone, Scar Symmetry, Adagio, One Way Mirror... tout en travaillant sur son prochain album.

Since its beginning in 2007, the band Spherical Void, from Compiègne, offers the audience a powerful music which allies energy, heavy atmospheres and complex rhythms. The vocals in both French and English, switch between saturated and melodic parts.
In 2009 a first EP entitled « Spiritual Architect » is released, completely autoproduced (except the vocals recorded in Pascal Gutman's studios in Compiègne). It deals with men's physical, social and psychic addictions.
This first opus got a good reception from the audience, who appreciated the initiative of a free distribution under Creatives Commons license.
To promote this first demo and to build up stage experience, Spherical Void performed more than fifteen gigs throughout France.
Their new EP « Believe: Arise », released on March 21st, 2011, marks a real turning point for the band, with much more personal compositions. Recorded in Massy, in Paul B. Complex, by Alexandre Beucler, this EP tries to liberate itself from current metal standards, in order to let the emotion show through in every song.
The band keeps appearing on stage, co-starring with numerous bands such as Textures, Klone, Scar Symmetry, Adagio, One Way Mirror... while working on its next album.
